The Story
The Story
The idea began with a simple question:
Can an everyday item be transformed into a functional work of art?
We drew inspiration from Tadao Ando's balance of light and shadow, and the power of his elegant and serene lines.
The apron was designed as a miniature architectural facade every thread was measured, and every detail reflected the harmony of structure and spirit.
We chose a fabric with a calming texture reminiscent of silent concrete, and designed it to combine comfort, elegance, and refined simplicity

TADAO ANDO
TADAO ANDO
A self-taught Japanese architect, Ando transforms simplicity into poetry in his work. Known for his masterful use of concrete, geometry, and light, he creates spaces that invite silence and contemplation. His architecture embodies precision and tranquility, where every shadow, line, and proportion speaks volumes. This apron draws from that same spirit: a study in self-control, balance, and timeless form.
